my story
Photography has always been a part of my life. As a young boy, I remember taking shots with my black & white Brownie camera. And shortly after, with my Kodak X-15 Instamatic. I always enjoyed taking pictures and trying to capture the "perfect shot".
As I grew older, I realized that my photographs were a gift to myself. From the entire process of capturing the image on film, to printing, matting and framing the image, the finished product was something, that in the end, brought me much happiness. And now, I have the privilege of sharing that happiness with others.
I discovered that by isolating and cropping objects from our three-dimensional world and capturing them in a two-dimensional medium, I could create an image that was visually intriguing and appealing to the senses. My images had the power to temporarily bring order and tranquility to an otherwise disordered and chaotic world. Personally, it's therapeutic.
